B Local PDX’s annual conference, B Corp Leadership Development Pacific Northwest Conference (BLD PNW), is the largest gathering of Certified B Corporations in the Pacific Northwest. We were excited to be approached in 2019 by the organization's event committee to create the branding and identity for this keystone event. The group needed a full suite of branding and design services for the conference that would resonate with the B Corp community and mirror their vision for their regional efforts.
Our Approach
The theme for the conference was Building the B Ecosystem. Our collective goal was to visually represent the businesses, communities and surrounding nature that make up the Portland B-Corp ecosystem. The event logo, color palette and design assets were all created to show how these elements come together to build a more sustainable future.
The Solution
Our design team created a cohesive look and feel using the illustration of our community. This was used in brand awareness assets including the conference website, social posts and billboards. We then carried it throughout the day-of conference assets including wayfinding signs, presentations and a program agenda that was given to each attendee.
