Overview
In July 2012, Mad Fish began work with a local company looking to become the go-to Portland contractor for demolition and asset recovery services. The client lacked a search engine-friendly website that properly communicated both the client’s available services and expertise. This resulted in low traffic, low conversions, and the lack of online authority and presence.
Goals
Mad Fish set out with the following goals for the campaign:
- Increase website traffic
- Increase monthly website leads
- Page one presence for primary key search terms
- Maximize the reach of the company’s marketing message and service offerings
Strategy
The first order of business was designing, writing and implementing an SEO-friendly website that was optimized for the highest possible conversion rate. In addition to website development and optimization, Mad Fish crafted a strategic online marketing services plan specifically designed around the client’s business.
Results: Organic Non-branded Search Traffic Increases Over 166%
Within one year, the client showed an increase in organic traffic over 130% and an increase in organic non-branded traffic over 166%
Results: 47 Keyword terms on 1st Page of Google
An authoritative online presence was also a result of Mad Fish’s strategy. Mad Fish established a list of 90 keywords relevant to the client’s business with a high-potential for generating traffic and reaching new customers. Of those terms, 47 currently rank on the 1st page of Google, which contributes to increased website traffic and leads.
